I've heard people say, and I am guilty of this myself, that their dreams have been lost. For any number of reasons they feel their dreams are no longer attainable - they are effectively gone. I once thought this myself. But, the truth is, our dreams are never truly lost. They may have gotten hidden and buried under the life we have veered off into, but they are still there. You don't necessarily have to "find" them, you just need to unbury them.
Of course, this is often easier said than done. But, it is very possible. We may need guidance, new tools or a bit of retuning to get our dreams back on track, but they're not lost causes. The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dream ~ Eleanor Roosevelt. Giving up brings regret and certain failure. According to the words of Manoj Pandey, some goals are so great, that even to fail is glorious. How right he was! Don't let hidden, buried dreams lie dormant. Wake them up, unbury them, seize that which you longed for - even if never achieved, the regret over deeming your dreams and goals "lost" will not leave you feeling quite so glorious!
Find someone who can cheer you along, brainstorm with you, give you needed reality checks and help keep you accountable. Allow yourself the opportunity to seek the success, even when there is a possibility of failure. When we give up on what inspired or energized us, we lose a part of ourselves. So - get out those shovels and start digging! Uncover what you buried (only the good stuff, of course - let the rest stay buried and done), and take the first step in reaching back out for those gold rings ~ whatever they may be.
